Lolla Guide 2007: MP3 Extravaganza!

Welcome to Lollapalooza Week here at Faronheit! Over the next few days, I'll be devoting my time to giving you the straight dope about this weekend's Lollapalooza. It's an exciting time to be had by all, with over 100 bands playing a whole lot of stages in Grant Park in downtown Chicago. Think of this week as sort of your "guide to" the festival. Here's what I'll be covering:

Monday- Hear the lineup
Tuesday- Day 1 Preview
Wednesday- Day 2 Preview
Thursday- Day 3 Preview
Friday through Sunday- Day by day recaps (possibly with crappy photos from far away)

And so, to kick off the week right, I feel obligated to educate you on exactly what the lineup of artists sounds like. If you're having trouble figuring out which band to see at what time and things like that, or if you're just plain not that familiar with the artists playing, this is the perfect way to get educated! I'll talk more about what each artist specifically brings to the table in my preview guides the next few days, but today just get your listen on!
