Live Friday: 10-05-07

I haven't gotten around to saying it yet, so Happy October everybody! This is my favorite month of the year for a lot of reasons, made even more so by the surprise announcement of a new Radiohead album. As we wait patiently for that, I've gotta keep things going at a somewhat normal pace here. Part of that means moving away from the month full of Radiohead live tracks that was September and moving onto other artists I happen to have live material from.

This week, it's a great set from none other than James Murphy and LCD Soundsystem. He stopped by the WXPN studios in early August in part to help promote his latest record, "Sound of Silver." Of course, aside from an interview he also played a couple of songs. Here are those songs. They all sound wonderful, as per the LCD Soundsystem standard. I hope this gives your weekend a much-needed kick.
