Live Friday: 10-19-07

This is pretty simple, really. Last Friday I shared a couple of live cuts from a mysterious Coldplay CD-R I found a few years ago. That was 3 songs out of a total of 11. The original plan was to give out bits and pieces of the other tracks on various, random Fridays for the foreseeable future. Well, I got a couple emails this past week from people wanting the entire show- sooner rather than later. So I begrudgingly agreed to spend the next couple Live Fridays finishing off posting the rest of the Coldplay live cuts from that CD. As a reminder from last week, this is a show from 2001 that was recorded at the Bristow. The quality is exceptionally good, despite the band not releasing it as a live disc of their own (which would follow 2 years later in 2003). As you can see here, most of the tracks are from the band's debut album "Parachutes," precisely because of the time frame when it was recorded. So enjoy a second week of Coldplay, with probably a couple more weeks still to come.
