Osos Acousticos

If you're any bit like me, you rather enjoy Minus the Bear. Yep, their math rock stylings are right up my alley, and though I tend to prefer their earlier material to their most recent stuff, I most definitely consider myself a fan. What you should know then, fellow Minus the Bear fans, is that the band has released a digital-only EP featuring several of their songs re-worked acoustically. Of course if you know Minus the Bear, you are aware their sound doesn't particularly lend itself to an acoustic environment. That's what makes this EP, titled "Acoustics" (duh), so interesting and special. I'm both surprised and impressed with how well these songs come out using acoustic guitars.

Also, the band also has one new song on this EP, called "Guns & Ammo". So, like I said, if you're a fan of the band, go to your favorite digital retailer and get these tracks - they're more than worth the $6 or so you'll pay for them.
